| IBPP comes from ''IInterface'', an internal proprietary and experimental project of [[https://www.integral.software/fr|T.I.P. Group S.A., now 'Integral Software']] back in 1999 (that's in Belgium, Europe). In august 2000, ''IInterface'' was re-worked and got released. The motivation was to allow further collaborative open-source, open-minded development of the class library and port it to Linux too.
